Voskhod = Awesome!

Love Voskhods, but I definitely don't get 6 shaves out of them. They're almost a 1 and done for me, but I usually push them to 2 shaves.

My post is misleading regarding the longevity of the blades. Most of those shaves were one pass plus or two pass shaves with just a day of growth. I shave every day. So, someone doing three passes with a 1 1\2 -2 days growth would probably not get an entire weeks worth of shaves as I did. If you only get one shave...damn!!
One huge thing to note, I was only doing one pass plus shaves because they were ultra close and comfortable and I did not need more passes. I can't say that very often. They flat out performed for me.

Blades are definitely very subjective, which is why I like TryaBlade so much. Great way to try out a wide range of blades. Luckily, Voskhods work very well for me and are one of the cheapest blades out there. They are one of two blade brands I have, the other being Personna Platinum's. The personna's are a small step up in sharpness, smoothness, and longevity for me over the Voskhods so I use them more sparingly for "special" shaves.

In my opinion, Voskhod blades are amazing. I like a sharp blade with a light coating and this blade does the job. I have about four other blades that I like to use but the Voskhod just glides over my knees which I figure would be like gliding over a man's chin.

I have read the praises here for the Voskhod blades, so I will give them a try. I have 3 or 4 of these.

I put a Voskhod in my Slim this week to test. First two shaves were two pass DFS+, second two shaves were two pass plus a little buffing and BBS! My skin actually healed thru out the week and is completely irritation free since putting the Voskhod in Tuesday. I was using a Feather with the Slim set on 5&6. The Voskhod was set on 7&6. These things just continue to impress!
