ABSOLUTELY. For those with sensitive skin or acne. For those with thick, wiry hair. For those with hard water on the extreme side. For both men and women. For beginners who are intimidated with lathering pucks. For those who want to keep shaving inexpensive and/or can't spend a lot of money on shaving. 11oz for less than $9. A decent number of scents, though if there is a downside to KMF, it's the weak power of their scents. Their grapefruit smells wonderful, but I'd be fine with it being twice as strong. The Cool Mint is the perfect bit of menthol (and I don't really care for menthol). I haven't found a lather that is a better protector, a better moisturizer, or an easier product with which to work. Your face will feel so soft that it will surprise you. And have no hesitation, if you like to use a brush, it works great with a little water in a bowl. Builds a rich, thick lather in seconds. *4 in 1 Moisture Shave

I love the quality of Tabac and really don't like the scent. The way I tamed the scent is by letting sit outside for a few days, followed by not putting the lid on it. The Tabac mug is nothing special to me, so I have the soap in a shaving mug and the scent is just about gone.

I usually like old school, but the scent on Tabac to too strong for me.

I'm also a fan of the old spice classic scent...the bottle is pretty cool, too!

I agree. Back in the day the bottle looked the same, though was made of glass.

I agree EFDan, the Maca Root provides some excellent shaves.

This. Wow.

I'm going to use it again later to replicate my results last night. Ultimate test!

I finally bought Tabac about a month ago and wish I didn't wait so long. This is a superior soap to most others in all regards. The scent was a bit too strong at first but it settled down some. I have grown to like the scent very much. The performance though is top notch. One of the best soaps I have ever used for sure.

when I had my jar of it, I didn't really know what I was doing with soaps so I stuck to creams and sold off just about every soap I had. now that I know how to properly build a lather, I mostly use soaps...I wish I would of kept the jar that I had.

I'm sure I'll pick up some more eventually..

If you liked the scent you should definitely give it another try. Tabac is cheap these days. You can get it on Amazon for $16 shipped in the nice bowl, or the soap only for $8.27 and free shipping. All the hype is correct in this case. It really is an awesome soap.

Hear, hear. Cella, Arko and Tabac. Those three old reliables have earned a permanent place in my den.
