Your service is, in my opinion, one of the biggest assets to wet shaving! To me, finding the right blade for your face is nearly the most important part.

A couple of questions,

1) Without giving away any of your secrets, where do you even begin to source that many?! I've not even heard of most.

2) Are there any issues with counterfeit or odd re-naming/branding of blades?

Good morning, Paolo! Thank you for the kind words. I also believe that finding blades that work for you is an important part of the wet shaving journey.

1. I have a few regular suppliers, but get blades from everywhere. If I find a blade that I do not have yet, I try to buy a fairly large amount, just in case I can't get it again. That being said, I have a handful of blades that will be unavailable since I can't source them anymore.

2. I did have an issue with the MEM blades being Chinese knockoffs. I was excited to find, what I thought, was a NOS cache of the MEM blades which were the Serbia produced blades, so I scooped up a bunch. Turns out they are junk. I put a disclaimer on the product page that they are Chinese made, and that I am selling them for what I got them for, just to get rid of them.

My question to you is, do you ever find blades that you never knew existed and, when you take a chance on them for your shop do you test them out on yourself or have others try them before actually putting them up for sale?

Not a question, but an acknowledgment and statement of appreciation.

What you offer is a fantastic service. The hardest thing for a new wet shaver to do is wade through the options and find what works without making a lot of wasted investments. Giving folks the ability to buy 1 of each blade is just an incredible way to give people that opportunity. Thank you so much for providing that service to the community.

Hello! Thanks for the question. A few years ago, I decided to take up wet shaving. I picked out a razor, brush, and a soap. I didn't know anything about blades so, like many others, I bought a sampler. Through the course of trial and error with the blades, I had a bunch left over that I would certainly, not use again. It seemed wasteful. So, I had to learn a new PHP framework for my day job and decided to develop a web site that would allow people to select only what they wanted for blades. It took on a life of it's own and it's still going strong.

Glad you were happy with my service! I often find blades that I have never knew existed. My dirty secret is that I haven't tried ever blade that I carry. I make an attempt by using the blade once and then trying a different blade, but I usually come back to my favorites. When I receive blades, I usually put them live in the store the same day if possible.

Thank you for finding value in the web site. The hard part is getting to the new wet shaver before they make a blind 100 pack or full pack purchase.

I do have a pet!  She's a 3yo Lionhead rabbit named Lenny.

She's litter box trained and lives for the most part in the kitchen.  She isn't allowed in the blade area which is in the basement.
