True Hard Arkansas

Nice stone. Always keep your eye out at yard sales etc. the best translucent hards I have ever used were Nortons from the old Pike Mine. Stunning is the only word to describe them. I have two 8". One 1" thick and one 1/2" well worth keeping on your radar if opportunity arises

How can you tell what mine they came from. Did they come with the packaging?

Most older ones are, either on box or the stone itself. Later ones may not be since Norton had owned Pike Industries for some time by then.
