Traveling With Your Gear

On a quick side note. I was just walking through downtown Disney (the shopping district) and I saw a store called "the art of shaving" and they had a barber with an old world barber chair shaving someone. How cool is that! I may have to run over tomorrow and go in since I fly home Sunday morning. I thought that was pretty ironic lol.

The Art of Shaving is now owned by Proctor & Gamble and their shops can be found in upscale malls across the United States so I am not surprised that a shop of theirs would be found on Disney Main Street.

I'm going on a trip to Hawaii in three weeks. I'm thinking should I actually take a de or just take a cartridge. I want to take my set up but to be honest I don't want to waste one minute doing anything than being outside. I'm thinking I'll take a soap stick and synthetic and use a cartridge. Safer that way of not losing a razor.

I'd say go for what you're thinking here. Shaving should be fun. You are going to Hawaii. You want to maximize your fun. I assume you are on vacation. You don't want to lose a good razor. If you are flying and not checking luggage then there is the TSA hassle. Also, this is DSF so we won't draw and quarter you, promise.

Take the cartridge and have a blast in paradise.  When you get home, those traditional shaves will be all the sweeter for their absence.
