This topic has been done before but I get questioned about it often so....... When I travel with a brush my main concerns are 1) getting my brush dry, and 2) keeping the brush fibers from taking a beating. The "dry" issue is easy to solve with a synthetic brush and mine is a 22mm tuxedo in a handle my son turned for me. The "protection" is a fastener container I picked up at Home Depot for a few dollars.
This is not my original idea. Someone on a forum a couple of years back shared the idea with us and I've found it to be the best solution for me. This "brush protector" has been with me in many states and countries and still looks new. Better yet, my brush has always arrived unscathed. Even better, my wallet never took a shot. The diameter is big enough for a 30mm brush should you choose. It won't fit a barber style handle so choose a shorter one. The top has a slit in it that would allow for ambit of air flow to finish drying a well shaken out brush and in fact I have not had to unpack it for drying once I returned home. (It's always been dry).
So what have you found that works?
