Top synthetics

Not all CH2 synths are alike. I don’t know this for sure, but I suspect some people in the factory tie better synthetic knots than others. I have owned 4 of them and they have run the gamut from unpleasant (too much backbone) to totally killer. Sometime I should post pics of the two I have now. I strongly suspect the knots were tied by two different people. One is pretty good, but the other is outstanding. I wish there was a way to guarantee a knot like the outstanding one every time. I’ve seen others with similar knots.

 Very interesting point about the variability. I have one and I like the brush but certainly cannot say it justifies 3x the price of the T3.

More than a month since the first post, but I'll weigh in. I've had numerous synthetics, & multiples of many makers: Simpsons, Muhle STF's, Shavemacs, Turn N Shaves, Yaqis, Frank Shaving, Omega (not the EVO), Stirling, Razorock, Fine, & others that aren't coming to mind. I've sold most of them for a variety of reasons (I didn't like them, bottom line). The ones I've kept & still enjoy using are the 26mm Turn N Shave Quartermoon (my current favorite synthetic), 25mm Turn N Shave Chess Piece Boss knot (outstanding brush for $10), & a 21mm Muhle STF.

WCS has the Omega Evo in three different handle types, could anyone weigh in on which is the easiest to hold/use among them?

I bought this Stirling "2-Band Synthetic" mostly for the retro appearance of the handle.



Out of maybe a dozen brushes that I own (badger, boar and synth) I pick this one  40% of the time. 
The handle is perfect for flicking excess water out of it because it's a nice secure grip.

Yep, here's the 2 I brought camping

I've tried a few different synthetic knots now and still prefer the plissoft.

I think the black synthetics with the white tips look awesome, but I've never gotten along with them well...they don't seem to have the splay that I prefer in my knots.
