Hi

I would like to have opinion on Timeless Razor Vs Karve on all aspects of both razors

I have sensitive skin and use mild razor’s / plates

On Karve I use plate AA it’s good find it doesn’t take much stubble without many passes even tho

Karve Plate A give me good shave find my neck irritated quite bit

Karve plate B still nicks here and there..

This is using free irritation blade Tiger Platinum.

When I shave with my Feather WS-D2 and tiger blade face feel amazing and all stubble is gone and no irritation at all gets me frustrated towards my loving Karve

I been thinking to buy Timeless Razor either Titanium or Stainless .68 Mild Version

What do you think of this Timeless Razor and it’s performance on mild version .68 scalloped too and plate

Is it worth it over Karve

Many Thanks

I think the Tiger blades are your problem. Get something better. I've used 2 different kind of Tigers and both pull rather than cutting hair. The Platinum are better than the carbon steel ones but ANYTHING would be better then either. Just my opinion.

Astra Greens worked well in the Karve when I owned one.

Don't get me wrong, the Timeless .68 is a great razor but a better blade like Gillette Silver Blue, Pol Silver SI or Wizamet will make a difference. Best wishes

Thank you will give it a try it’s razor that my mother bough me last year before my surgery and I treasure it no matter it will collect dust on my shelf I did amazing polishing job on it and mirror finish look

I have Astra Green, Astra SS platinum, also 7 o’clock supper stainless so these blades are ok on my skin so far

Using my feather WS-D2 using feathers ohh it’s a blood draw and irritation using tigers in this razor smooth irritation free so frustrating lol but I know what blade to use

So maybe it certain razor and blade that pairs with it I don’t knot I could be wrong I learn everyday

I would like to try save up and buy timeless razor for my 40th birthday coming I think their plate is .68 mild version so I don’t know how it is is head to bulky etc..

Many Thanks

Watch some youtube videos of people shaving. Experiment with the angles. You will get there.

Mild shaver here. I tried the Karve A and B plates (but not AA) and didn't get on with them in the end. Much preferred my Tatara Masamune. If you like the AS-D2 I'd try a Tatara. Zero irritation for me even with the OC plate or using a feather blade.

Haven't tried the Timeless .68 as I like low profile razor heads. I hear it is excellent though.

I don’t understand where the love for the timeless comes from. Nice looking, well finished, terrible at its job. So many pop “singers” come to mind.
