I always love a smooth efficient razor. The .68 OC timeless seems fairly mild and rather inefficient for me. Reminds me of the Karve on a B plate when I had one.

Plenty of blade feel but not nearly as efficient as a 6s, .68 and .84 GC, or anything else really. Not sure going up to the .95 would fix it. Shame, it’s a beautiful razor but I can’t get it work for me.

Suggestions welcome!

I found the .68 worked, but I had to work too hard to make it work. A .95 was a big improvement. YMMV.

Try a steeper angle. Of all of my razors, this one requires the steepest angle. For me the efficiency grew greatly from my usual shallow to neutral angle.

This was my experience too. The .68 took me lots and lots of going over the face, but that was the SB version.

Had the same problem.....went from the .68 to the .95 and it was better but I was still looking for something more efficient. Buddy suggested the Blackbird, it's been my #1 since Sept of last year. Killed RAD pretty dead.

The performance of my Titanium 0.68 mm seems to depend on the blade, more than anything else. It’s a nice shaver with a Feather or especially a Kai blade. (I believe Kai blades are a fraction wider than most other DE blades.)

I’ve also noticed that using a shim makes the 0.68 a little less angle-dependent.

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”
