You're gonna love it! I have the 0.95 OC Ti with the spiral and crown handle. The crown handle with scalloped cap is beautiful. I am also grateful for the gap stamp!

My intention was to order the .95 OC, but something went wrong with I tried placing the order, so I had to start over. Somehow I messed up and ordered the scalloped base rather than the OC the 2nd time around. Oh well, I know I will like the scalloped base as I like the 0.68 scalloped. I was just hoping for something a tad more efficient to mow down 2 days of growth.

I have the Ti 0.68 and 0.95 with scalloped cap and Crown handle (matte finish).  Both OC.  My go to is the 0.95, leaving my 0.68 when I am in a hurry or on vacation.  Actually, I have a 0.68 SS in my travel kit.  I found the 0.68 OC gives me a better shave than the 0.95 SB.  Can't say why for sure, but I'm an everyday user and the Timeless OC works best for me.  Maybe it moves the soap more efficiently?

I shave first thing in the morning and trying to use two different razors would totally scramble my mind.  Hmmmm, maybe it would be a good exercise to improve cognition.  I'm sure I can use it.

Had a couple Timeless razors, my favourite was the 0,95OC. It was maybe the best DE ever used on large flat surfaces cutting incredibly efficiently and yet mildly. Only problem was the stack height so high that was unable to access anywhere around nose and ears. Thus started my war against ever higher stack height razors, a trend yet ongoing.

Matt and guys were terrific and customer service outstanding.  My stack height issue is exacerbated by a terribly disfigured face from repeated trauma over the years, others may not find the stack height disqualifying.

While I have been shaving almost exclusively with my Karve S C-plate SB razor for the past couple of months to do DE blade evaluations, my normal procedure is to do a four pass shave using a different razor for each pass. That is four razors per shave. I like starting out with a very efficient razor for my WTG pass to mow down heavy beard growth. Then I move to a slightly less efficient razor for my XTG pass. Then I use an even milder razor for ATG to avoid irritation. As I like a near-BBS shave (BBS except on my jawline and chin), I do a final clean-up pass using buffing strokes and a mild razor equipped with a super sharp blade like BIC Chrome Platinum or Nacet. The super sharp blade will pick up any stray stubble. I know that is not the way most people do it, but I have found that it allows me to get a near-BBS shave with zero irritation in spite of my tough beard and sensitive skin. 

My intent is to use the Timeless 0.95 for my WTG pass, move to the Karve D-plate for the XTG pass, use the Karve C-plate for the ATG pass and then use the Timeless 0.68 with a BIC or Nacet blade for the clean-up. I just lay the razors out in order before the shave; that makes it easy. 

For the past several years I have been using a Parker 24C open comb for the WTG pass. It is chrome plated brass and costs only $30. It has served me well, but I am hoping the Timeless 0.95 will be even better. At 10X the price, it is not a great value, but it is a work of art as well as an efficient tool.

For my clean-up pass I have been using a Van der Hagen/Weishi twist to open. It is a very mild razor, but as a cheap Chinese razor, the mechanism is starting to wear. That razor will be replaced by the Timeless 0.68.

Congrats on your purchase . I had the .95 OC for a while and then I shifted to the Slim OC. Anything from Timeless is a winner. I love the fact they are an engineering company first before they ventured into making razor. I can't believe my slim oc base plate was made using wire cut edm! That's some precision machining. If you get the chance, you should try the slim OC. It is an aggresive razor and get the work done very fast but not the best razor if you are a daily shaver!
