Glad my tip worked out for you Eric. My father is a lifelong woodworker. He has  basement full of tools/machines.  And more importantly the knowledge on how to use them. I picked up a lot of things growing up. Thankful for the life lessons. Happy to share when appropriate.

Razor: Rockwell 6c
Blade: Wizamet
Brush: Sorrentino Turquoise
Soap: Ethos Grooming Colonia
Aftershave: Ethos Grooming Colonia

Couldn't decide on a razor so I went with the go-to. Maybe someday I'll find something that works better for me than the 6c with the #4 plate, but it would have to be truly amazing to top this combination. Two passes with a bit of clean up left me with a stellar BBS, and the aftershave made my skin feel and smell fantastic.

I've posted in here about repurposing cigar boxes for straight razor storage, but I figured why stop there? I have this fantastic Jnat and set of nagura and they currently just sit in some bubble wrap and packing paper when I'm not using them. So I grabbed one of the deeper cigar boxes and some thicker wood than I've been using to compartmentalize the straight razor storage boxes, and I'm very happy with the results. Thanks again to Fluffy for the heads up on flocking. It's working out great!

They reformulated the soap base a while back (“Super Tallow Formula”) and it hits way above its price-point now.

That’s definitely good to know.  I just checked the link. The new formula checks a fair number of premium boxes, and a lot of people must agree with you, because it’s sold out.

It is working out great. I'm excited to see the latest one once everything dries and I can take the plastic off the rest of it.

Wait until you see the Cohiba Black box I just finished up. That one was a lucky find, and I'll snatch up any more I come across.

Razor: RazoRock Lupo .72
Blade: Wizamet
Brush: Maggard 2-band badger.
Soap: Gentleman's Nod Sir Arthur
Aftershave: Gentleman's Nod Sir Arthur
First run with the new Lupo 72 that finally came in. I ordered it the same day as the Sir Arthur set and it arrived yesterday. I like the looks of it, as well as the low profile head and the fact that it covers the tabs on the side of the blades. I'll be using it exclusively for a bit to get used to it, but the first shave was favorable. Fairly mild but still efficient, I was able to pull off a 2 pass with clean up BBS, though I got careless and it bit my upper lip right under my nose. Still, the shave was good and it shows great potential. And, as always, the soap and AS smelled AMAZING!

Razor: RazoRock Lupo .72
Blade: Wizamet
Brush: Sorrentino Turquoise
Soap: Ethos Grooming Colonia w/Ice Dragon
Aftershave: Ethos Grooming Colonia
I ordered some Ice Dragon from Frank and it came in today, so it was necessary to use it for the shave. I added a couple drops to the brush and face lathered. It reminds me a bit of THB's Creeper soaps, as there was not much cool at first, but it built up over time until it was more intense for the amount used than I thought it would be. It worked great, and I can see this being a staple in the den during the summer months. Second shave with the Lupo .72 and it was even better than the first. Got a solid BBS with two passes and a bit of clean up. It felt a bit more intuitive today, and of course the performance and scent of the software was outstanding. I've been really tempted to pull the trigger on a bottle of AdP Colonia Intensa to replace the one that was tragically shot in the drive by a ways back, and every time I use this soap/AS it adds to that desire.

Awesome shaves! I keep seeing rave reviews for the Lupo 72. You folks need to stop it, lol. Can't buy another razor. Lol.

Saw that The Razor Company now has Duke Cannon shaving cream. I believe it's the simple no brush stuff. What caught my eye is the packaging. I'm pretty certain Duke was specifically insulting You Eric LOL! You are the only Axe shaver I know. [Image: 9674579bfe2de36be3cc3abae9595799.jpg]
