I think you would be surprised at how little difference lies between artisan soaps and some of the big names. MWF is made in an old Yorkshire stone building and Pre de Provence
is a pretty small operation on a working farm; hardly some black and white industrial film of mass production and hundreds of delivery trucks scurrying off every minutes. I can get those two classic, hard milled soaps for $13 and $11 with known consistency. I love many 'artisan' soaps from operations not much smaller who are hard pressed to sell a soft soap for that price point.

I'm really liking PdP 63.

PdP 63 smells amazing. I had a puck but unfortunately gave it away and didn't replace it yet. My brother was in town to visit and I told him he could have any soap he wanted form my den which consisted of at least 30 at the time. Out of all those soaps he chose the PdP 63. lol.

I'll have to give the PdP a try.

KAV makes a good point about getting milled soaps at that price point. Also, while I haven't had good luck with Mitchell's, many have and consider a top tier soap.

agreed. Haslinger is so damn easy to lather and I like its mild scents.

Yep it is really awesome soap. I seriously could have stopped after this one but did I.........of course not lol.
