IN the future of storefronts, it was put thus,
"do we want the mass made razors in china to be the way of the future?"
ITs a good question. IF a person doesn't want to buy a modern razor from Merkur, Muhle, EJ you have to choose between buying a vintage razor online, or purchase an extremely expensive copy of one of those razors.
Or you can buy one of the mass produced razors from china. I know the horror of it, a mass made clone of the Gillette tech and super speed, for prices less then what most rusted up vintage techs sell for. Its easy to do a little dance when you shell out 200$ for a "artisan stainless steel tech clone" but your not allowed to when you score a dozen Chinese made ming shi or baili tech clones at 2.00$ or less EACH.
Gillette made razors in massive numbers. They made 3 piece techs in the 50s and 60s as components in England and shipped box cars of components over to the USA for assembly. Yet we love them still.
SO honestly what are you guys looking for here.
-expensive artisan razors no one can really afford
-nothing but Edwin jager, merkur, and muhle razors
-lord and rapira tech clones
-Chinese made tech clones that can be bought at the original tech box price of 60 cents or less?
