Another great shave this morning.  I replaced the knot in the Brothers Bristles handle with a Tuxedo knot I received as a gift from @Douglas Carey .  The Tuxedo knot looks fantastic and has good backbone with soft tips.  As expected the MdC was very easy to lather.  A 2 pass shave with touch ups ended in my normal near BBS.  The Fine Lavender is not a prefect match to the soap but does provide a very nice contrasting herbal quality.  I hope everyone has a great Thursday.

This soap was a sneaky one scent wise, in the tub it smells like cherry kool-aid. After it is lathered you can smell mostly amber, totally different from the scent in the tub. This was my first experience with the Latha line and found it has the same great performance as the white label soaps. Thanks to Chris (BadDad) for sharing! I will be using the PAA shavette for my next shave as I was in a hurry today.

I'm a vintage DE guy but I must give the SE it's due. I used my 46 G3 today for the first time in many months and I forgot what a really stellar performer it is. BBS.

The Gs are excellent injectors. You just need more SES now and soon enough you will find yourself in a long and dark rabbit hole

Quick question/conversation starter, do any of you strictly SE shave? I had the thought because I have sort of been on a DE kick lately and I don't think I could ditch the vintage Gillettes all together as I still very much enjoy what DE blades have to offer

I use both. I've been traditional wet shaving for just over 2 years now. I used mostly injectors and SE's for most of the past year. I, too, have been on a bit of a DE kick lately. I use mostly vintage razors, but have picked up some of the latest releases of....well....everything!

I honestly enjoy something about just about all of them. I love variety.
