Kirk and I both used the V1 aluminum yesterday and were impressed enough to say let’s make a V2 aluminum version happen (call it a V3 I guess?). We are probably going to move the modified threaded rod back a bit and center it up between the lather slot and back of the base plate. It will ensure the modified rod in aluminum will be structurally sound.

So, it’s in the works after our new DE hits the market.

Woooo can’t wait! I love my V2 with the original handle. Where can we read more about the new DE?

The new DE has been kept a secret until now. Smile Been working on it for a few months.

The Silversmith is done after these are sold out and the new DE will lead the way for us. Looking forward to it hitting the market and being different from the current crowded market of SS razors.

The Silversmith is a great razor! Really like mine, probably my most used razor of the last year. Now I'm in the wait for the General V2. After everything I read about the General V2 it must be at least amazing.

I expect our machininst to invoice us for V2 razor heads within a week or less. I’ll stock them on the site as quickly as possible once I get them in my hands.

Is there going to be any difference in this run of V2 or is it the same in terms of blade gap, exposure or geometry of the head?

It’s the same V2 that we’ve made since Day 1. No changes in geometry.
