I just preordered the new General V2 Revised.  I did not like the handle on the original.  This new revised handle is both eye catching and more practical.  I have no commercial relationship with the company.  Just a happy Silversmith customer looking forward to this single edge AC razor.

+1 The handle looks cool. Looking for more reviews on the V2 shave. Better or similar to a Vector?

I own a Vector and really like it. I purchased the V2 because I had heard the Shave was comparable.  I’ll do a review after receiving it.

Looking forward to it! I’ve just finished a little over a full week with the Vector. Fantastic shaves. Easily the best razor in my den, up with the .68 Game Changer and Schick M.

Loved the General v1 shave, just don’t have one.

Ah, but have you shaved with a Silversmith, SS Lupo, or an H&s No75?  I also have a Vector and love it’s shave, but each of the aforementioned razors delivers a comparable or better shave, of course, YMMV.

I feel pretty set in perfect DE shaves between the GC and the Fatboy!

The GC .84 is an excellent razor, but you should really try the SS Lupo.  I think it has a much wider sweet spot, and it shaves much more efficiently for me.  I will say that the aluminum Lupo is not worth bothering with. YMMV

Love my V2 but like the cleaner Lines of the original handle.

I've narrowed my collection to it (with a Feather Pro or Schick) and my Blackbirs SB. Preferring the General V2 these days.

I do like my General V2. New handle looks great. I was told they will sell the handle separately once they get production caught up. I like the Kai Caption Sharpblade in mine.

Looking forward to receiving mine. Unfortunately, it won’t be ready until March.  I like the Prolines in my Vector and Hawk.  I’m really curious at to how the General shave will compare to the Vector.
