Today in a SOTD I saw the 2019 line of Thayers, specific for wetshaving: Gentlemen's Collection.

Reading online I saw that it seems to have good technical characteristics.
Sharpologist's (free?) review is also good.
In general, that company makes products that I like.
But I would like to read some direct experience.
Especially on the fragrance.

Which (if) one do you prefer, and why?

Interesting! Love their Rose witch hazel product. Would try this out for sure.

Given how their original product is being used I suppose this is a natural progression for the company.  The question is, will they make a bay rum scented product? Big Grin

What's the difference between an aftershave balm and an aftershave lotion? Thought they were basically the same thing.

Aftershave lotion is a liquid “splash”. Balms are more creamy, typically white.

Technically, they're totally different.
A lotion is a simple mixture: basically a EDC with Glicerine, in the beginnings.
A balm is a more complex formulation, near a fluid cream.

I just tried some Stirling Bay Rum witch hazel, great scent seems to work fine.

Thanks, both. Shame ... that probably means I can't get lotions sent here since EDC is typically alcohol-based. I do like balms. Just looking for something that is perhaps longer lasting.

Toner (with NO alcohol) is a nice alternative.
Thayers Natural have nice ones.
Specially in face mist option, they're great.

Out of curiosity, where is "here"?
