I have a Baili BR179  and a vintage Gillette Flare Tip.  Both, i understand, are very mild.  They do a good job, but lately i'm noticing I could use just a tiny bit more aggression, like one tiny notch up on the scale.  Maybe half a notch even.  More than that will be too much for me

Any recommendations?

Grab a Henson Aluminum. 10% off for black Friday. Mild but efficient. My two cents at least.

YMMV of course but I recently discovered the Bic blades and they really woke up a couple of razors I initially thought were too mild.

Interesting.  I'll look into Bic blades

If you want to stick to butterfly style razors that won't break the bank the Red Tip Gillette Super Speed is as aggressive as the Super Speeds get in the vintage realm. I would rate them low side of the middle of the mild to wild scale. If it is still too mild as long as you don't overpay you'll be able to get out of it at least what you have in it and sell it quickly.

In the modern realm I couldn't say not owning many modern razors.

Sharper blade certainly is an option with a mild razor. Problem is the second the edge starts to wear you are back to the same problem. If you can't get at least as many good shaves to your expectations with a sharper blade then it is back to a less mild razor. Besides a Bic try a Feather stainless or Kai blade. I use Bic blades myself but both those blades are sharper than Bics. Bics I think excel in that they hold a consistent edge. They shave the same from first shave until they don't. No gradual wear down with them.

Henson medium, Yates precision, or a Blackland Dart all are on sale today, if you want new. Gillette slim, redtip, or fatboy if you are OK with vintage.
