I'm getting one with the german 37 slant and was mostly curious about how comfortable it is using a 3" handle as I've never used one before. I have the regular masamune handle and find it very comfortable but wondering if I'd prefer a 3" in size and weight. I agree 100% love the asthetics of the tatara handles they are beautiful. Do you find using a standard handle makes the tolerances not as tight or is it the same experience? Thanks!I forgot to mention that I did the pass around for the Nodachi. I think the blade locked in as tight with the Weber Bulldog as it did the Nodachi handle. The Weber handle is the only handle I had that had enough length in the threaded area to touch the base plate of the Nodachi. I prefer shorter handles because I hold the handle at the bottom with 2 fingers instead of using a 3 finger grip. This gives the razor a head heavy balance and makes it easier for me to keep from applying too much pressure.
