In my extensive T+S use I’ve noticed the soap doesn’t like heat, being a bowl/scuttle user in the winter, it was just a matter of finding the right setting on the tap over a few uses, but that’d be my first guess as to the instability question.

I got Sicily ... I’m reading 90% of your reviews here and I feel like I’m the only one who thought the scent was terrible. I kept the soap with no complaints because the performance of the soap is just absolutely phenomenal and even the aftershave works amazing. But the scent was like I left lemons soaking in lukewarm water sitting on top of the sink and then uncovering the lid to smell it. When I realized it smells bad and bitter I throw some blood oranges in there lol and that’s the scent in my opinion. But I’m really happy for those who enjoyed the scent on this one. The performance of the soap as I said before is out of this world, it made my face feel like I was 10 again and I haven’t even started getting facial hair yet. Sooo that alone I declare T+S a keeper

I don’t get much similarity. I like both (I love Classic) Classic to me is a masculine scent that leverages Vetiver where out of Sicily I get bright citrus with a bit of depth created by the different citrus’s, more in common with a Colonia type scent. But with everything scent is very subjective, what I focus on may be different than what you get.

I think it's quite strange, but like I said, I plan to pay close attention on the next two shaves... I'll update everyone (and the reviews).
None of the other reviews, AFAIK, used a scuttle.
I very rarely have issues with the scuttle, and I've been using it with every shave (just about) for 4+ years.
This is the first time I've experienced this with a T+S soap and I have nearly all of them, going back to the beginning.
