First shave with Kyoto! First I can’t tell a difference between v2 and v3 for the lather, how it performs and post shave feels the same.

Kyoto is a great summer scent! Smelling it yesterday I thought it was very nice, being immersed with it this morning made me like it even more, not that the scent changed off the puck just having the scent fill the bathroom was very pleasant. I found Kyoto to smell similar to West Indies, not exact but similar wheel house, imo.

Thanks! I’m happy you enjoy it. The consensus I’m reading so far is that v3 is hard to distinguish between v2 which is what I was hoping for. You may notice the scents coming though more cleanly, especially smelling from the jar - that was the main focus.

Posting later in the day but shaved with Sicily this morning and it was really, really excellent. This base is incredible and the smell of Sicily is really great. I'm looking forward to Madagascar tomorrow.

My Kyoto set arrived today (germany) - first fragrance impression: very nice.

Scheduled for delivery today, but USPS came and went. Nothing on tracking since:

"Your item has been processed through our facility in ISC NEW YORK NY(USPS) at 4:34 pm on June 20, 2018."

So much for 2-3 day delivery. Guess that's only within CA; US customs notwithstanding.

UPDATE: Yes, blame customs:

"Your item cleared United States Customs at 9:45 am on June 23, 2018."
