I tried nasal snuff. Not my thing. I couldn't get the hang of it. Made me sneeze too much.

Swedish snus is a chewing tobacco.
It's traditionally used in the upper lip. No spit. I do put the loose kind in my lower lip like American chew or dip sometimes though. It is a much finer grind than any kind of American chew through. It quickly turns to mud. It's not usually sweet at all either. More salty. Most people who are dippers in the States are turned off at first by the flavors and consistency of Swedish snus.

I picked up some snus including some I haven't tried like Nick & Johnny's Red Hot, Ettan Original, Jakobsson's Melon, Jakosson's Special Cola, and Jakobsson's Gullviva & Viol.

Oh. You have to tell us about the Red Hot!

Is it cinnamon hot or pepper hot?

I have been thinking about getting some.

I have had the melon one before. It's not bad at all. Strong nicotine. Almost like a scent of melon more than a candy melon. Very subtle I thought. It's on my 'list' now that that summer is coming.

I'll definitely let you know about the Red Hot. I'm personally hoping it's more like the red hots cinnamon candies! I should have them Wednesday.

Red hot has no cinnamon taste to me. Just a very strong (good) tobacco flavor and burns real nice. Exact opposite of mint snus where it's usually a cool tingle. This stuff is hot like a mild chili pepper.

Wow they are really making it cheap and easy to get cancer!
When I die, I want to go like Gramps, quiet in his sleep - Not screaming like the passengers riding in his car.

All I can say is wow, holy cow this true Swedish Snus can be strong. Different brands and much more fresh...packs a punch. Especcially since I had been accustomed to the General Snus sold at gas stations here in the US. In fact, some are a little too potent and I end up spitting for the first 1o-20 minutes until it mellows out. I know that defeats the purpose of Snus, so thats why I use that brand when I am outside working. The mellow brands I use while in class. bakerbarber , I would be open to doing some trading over the mail (through PM) if you wanted to let go of some of your more mellow brands and get some stronger snus in return.

The Oden's extreme (Blue/Black/Red label) is one specific one I need to parlay into something more mellow.
