That's really cool I like the sound of that, your a bit of a Pro though! I am not a big Patchouli fan but if it's relatively hidden I would like it. Thanks for your suggestion.

Ooooooo a fragrance thread!

Here is what I'd suggest for a summer composition, in order of prominence of the notes (not necessarily dosage or a traditional perfume pyramid):

Pineapple
Bergamot
Neroli
Sandalwood
Vanilla
Rose
Vetiver
Oakmoss

This is another one that looks great, I think this would be very bright.

So far Pineapple seems to be the prominent scent for my list.

Anyone fancy a bit of the others?

I want to put this thread out there again and get a few ideas. I have passed the scents suggested so far on to the artisan and they were interested in what people wanted.

So, any other ideas you guys want to throw into the mix?

Hi Oli, if fully open range I have been kicking around the idea of something along the lines of:

Juniper
Lime
Basil/Mint
Honey and/or Jasmine to round it out

Could call it El Mojito Smile

Ha I like the sound of that, would be right up my street.  With Obi Hill and your two suggestions on here I would put you down as a pro mixer Smile

Of Mojitos maybe, not too sure about the soaps though Smile

Hmm. Any more detailed suggestions would depend on the person who is making the fragrance. Perfumers have different styles, and sometimes making recommendations is tough to do. One can't ask Jean-Claude Ellena to make a thick oud scent for example, nor Bertrand Douchafour something simple and one-dimensional.

Something that puts one in mind of magnolias, dogwoods, and crepe myrtles in bloom. I've been curious about one soap that uses cherry blossom as well.
