Stirling seems to have positioned themselves as the "value" brand in the market. As such they seem to miss out on some of the love they deserve. Their soaps, balms, lotions, aftershaves might not perform exactly like some others in the premium price range but frankly they perform better than at least half the players in that realm at a significant cost savings. Most of their scents are familiar and approachable making them desirable for the lions share of the market. The shave soaps lather easily, are slick as can be, offer pretty decent post shave, and are a great value proposition. Add to that the character of the owners and Stirling is a great place to support with our dollars.

Stirling is my go to. I use the Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap every shave and the Glacial Unscented PSB almost every shave. I have about 6 or 7 of the AS splashes, 3 other balms, and about 16 or 17 full tubs of soap.

Great choices! The lemon chill and glacial mint are face freezers. Never have sniffed Hipster but others who I trust like it lots.

I've had a few Stirling soaps and to me they are honest to goodness, basic tallow soaps that are very easy to work with.
Scent strength is usually around a 5-6 on the scale, some have been stronger and others have been weaker. Their splashes feel good and moisturizing with the scent usually fading halfway thru the day.
$13 for 6 oz of soap, or $13 for a splash is money well spent. The cologne dupes are really good too!

Inexpensive but the base..in comparison to what’s out there now is imo pretty poor. It’s worth a few cents extra a day to step up to one of the fantastic soaps like Grooming Dept, Tallow + Steel or B&M..
