I didn't see the amount and I used the amount specified for the Carbon Shaving passaround. I'm sure it is well covered at that amount, but would help for future shipping to have that in the first post.

If you ship it in a small box inside a priority mail bubble mailer, it will automatically have insurance to cover loss. No extra insurance is needed.

Thank you very much for trying them out. :-)

isn't that insurance only $50-$100 though?

Here's the most recent pass around list. As per the usual pass around rules, keep the razor for about a week and send it off to the next person in line. Once you're done with the razor, please share your feedback - whether good or bad - in this thread.

Also, as requested by Rod (ezlovan), please put the razors and cases in the provided box and ship the razors off to the next person in a priority mail flat rate padded envelope ONLY!!

**Please soak/spray the entire razor in alcohol or something similar before shipping it out and upon receiving it to reduce any virus risks!**

Razors just delivered and in my possession. Rod ezlovan these 2 handles are really creatively and well designed. I find them very comfortable to hold. Also, I really like these Stirling-branded leather cases. They are perfect for travel.

I will post my thoughts on the razors next week before shipping them off to the next participant.

Thanks ezlovan for creating these razors and andrewjs18 for his work arranging the pass-around.

My first problem is that I cannot really tell the difference between the two heads. Both felt really aggressive. Visually there was nothing to distinguish between them, at least at first glace. I took both in with me to shave, and tried the first. It was aggressive. I tried the second. It was also aggressive.

Unable to tell the difference between them, I chose one and did a standard 3 pass shave. Definitely some weepers. Less close than my standard shaves. I will keep at it.

Is anyone able to offer advice on how to tell them apart?

I think the gap was visibly different if you look at them. At least in my recollection.

Gap visibly different. Also the hyper aggressive one labelled “HA” on the base plate.

It is, but it would be silly to insure it for more than that. It's been passed around enough at this point that it's not worth the extra.
