I think some of these are seasonals now, but that's probably my top 5.

One great thing about Stirling are their sample offerings.. . Ample and cost effective.

Stirling samples are about $4 a piece and you get an ounce. So, if we compare that to the competition who sells a 4oz soap for $20, Stirling samples are cheaper.

Even some of the more generous vendors who sell 5oz for $20, it's the same price (for a sample, which is crazy).

Definitely get the samples. There are so many to choose from. The samples last like 5-10 shaves.

I agree, get the samples. And make Haverford one of the choices. Smells just EXACTLY like my long dead uncle's pipe tobacco. Takes me way back.

That was my intention with this post. There have been a few standouts but you are correct, everyone has their own taste. Putting together my sample order based off all these suggestions should be fun.

Sale right now on some. Just ordered Bonaparte which I had before and enjoyed.

All the samples I've received from Stirling I was able to get on average of 30 shaves per 1oz sample. I do use a synthetic brush all the time so that may make a difference. Definitely worth the $4 or whatever they cost now.

Favorite Stirling scents are,

Frozen Tundra
Margarita's in the Arctic
Sandpiper
Glacial Satsuma
Stirling Spice
