Resurrecting an older thread!!
I just placed a huge (for me!) sample order of 9 different roasts and 2 soaps. The descriptions and reviews had me very curious, and while loving my local roasters, I found I wanted to try something else. I got an email from Stirling regarding something else, and there was the coffee pictured. Looking forward to sampling some good cups o' joe soon!

I have ordered several bags of Stirling whole bean coffee and particularly liked Sumatra. Guatemala wasn't bad either and I have yet to use Brazilian blend. Overall, good quality for someone just starting out.
Thanks, boilerphan , I appreciate hearing that! Many positive reviews on the site, but as much as I want to believe them, I do take them with grains of salt! Coffee is another YMMV thing, as taste buds differ as do palates and preferences. When I brewed coffee in an auto drip for family or at work, I always used the same number of scoops and similar store brands. Yet some complained I brewed too dark/heavy and co-workers accused me of making tea!

First pot of Stirling Roastery Columbian brewed and enjoyed this morning. Outstanding! I got the samples yesterday, and all 9 were roasted within the last 2 weeks!
