I use my Stirling Kong quite often. It's a big, soft, fluffy pillow of a brush that holds huge amounts of lather. Everybody that has one knows they can slap a near endless supply of foamy goodness onto their face with this thing, but they also know it doesn't have much backbone at all, largely due to it's towering 63mm loft. That's why I was interested to see the new 26mm synthetic brush with almost 10mm less loft. I wondered if it would make a difference in the backbone. The answer is, yes it does. Compared to the giant Kong, it has significantly more backbone, but can still splay out nicely. If you're looking for a synthetic like the Kong, but with more backbone, I think you'll like this one. It's still very, very soft on the skin, but it's not floppy. I really enjoyed lathering with it today.
