Steel and its CoO- Everything You Wanted to Know About Double Edge Razor Blades but

Sheldon of Global Shave Club made a blog post in 2019 that goes into great detail about the impact of the country of origin of razor blade steel. Some interesting tidbits were in his post, such as Bic using Japanese steel in their blades.  Are there any more authoritative sources on this subject?
