Stars Wars Holiday Special

I will admit that I am a Stars Wars fan.  I grew up with Star Wars and have enjoyed watching the prequels/sequels/spinoffs/etc.  But I will also admit that I am no super-fan.  And maybe that's why i had no idea this Holiday Special existed.  I am NOT a fan of the special    So far, it has taken me 2 hours to get through the first 25 minutes.  But is SO bad, i feel like I have to finish it now...or at least until Carrie Fisher sings her holiday song.  If you're in the mood for some bad acting/bad writing-script/bad special effects, feel free to check it out

I was aware of it as an adolescent, but I don't remember watching it. And given all the bad press, I think I'll keep it that way! Kudos to for persevering through it!!

I had never heard of it. Watched the first scene to get a taste. When I asked my wife if she had ever heard of it, she said, "Yes, wasn't that some awful thing hosted by Bea Arthur?" Hmmm, I see perhaps a new family tradition in the making. Maybe *this* will drive the grown boys out of the house.
