I bought S1 slant on a friend's recommendation and I am so glad I did. It has become my daily driver and gives me the most irritation free, smoothest shaves I have ever experienced.

Good to know they will still be around . Wishing Stan good health and happy retirement.

I may be mistaken but his stainless razors seemed to really be the ones that blew open the doors on the high end stainless market. At one point they were considered the top of the chain and to some they still are.

Yep, when I first started it was one of just a handful of premium razors. I wish they still sold the S1 because a couple of friends have borrowed mine, but aren't able to purchase one and want one.
