Out of curiosity how long ago did you pick that beauty up? It really is absolutely gorgeous!

Sorry for delay. I didn't buy it that way. I love my charcoal goods and have a bunch of different pieces so that's the new gen4 top cap and gen 1 base. The top actually isn't all that polished and has kind of a dull look to it that matches ti better. Thus, the handle is a tibam I had custom made. I always wanted ss and copper base so the gen 2 base should be here tomorrow. As for the cap it will definitely get polished, just practicing on other objects before I give it a go.

Very nice. Those tibam handles are beautiful! I may request that he do something similar for me. Anyhow, here is the mixed metal design I came up with. I like it, but it may need to mellow out a bit with patina before it looks its best.

That copper plate looks pretty sharp on that stainless razor. I like it.
