ML and I went to our camp this weekend and to open it for the season.
We took quite a few walks and ML took quite a few pictures I thought I'd share.

This is a stream running faster with the spring run-off.

We saw a bunch of birds on the pond.
The resident loon pair have returned. Very exciting.

A pair of mallards. This is the female in flight.

An osprey high up and on the hunt.

A bunch of yellow rumped warblers. ML was very patient to get this pic. They flit about in the underbrush non-stop.

And while we saw lots of birds I did not see any fish - unfortunately.

It was lovely to get away with my bride and enjoy the quiet and beauty of spring in Vermont.

I see spring is just as advanced, or not, as it is here in Maine.

Nice wildlife, nice setting.
