Good question? Bragging? “Why are people showing me what they are shaving with on DAILY BASIS?"
"... but it’s an easier way to participate in say, a Facebook or Message Board group like Damn Fine Shave." nice plug
What do you think? Bragging? To much info?
My opinion. Like the author when I first saw them I thought Way too much info, like people who take pix of food when eating out, but as one who takes pix, I agree with the author I really think it’s more of an art. I can easily do it but I'd have to drag out all the stuff into one shot. Plain studio shots would be boring. I think the more interesting ones do have a theme, with a soft background, maybe water, a theme to go along with the products. There are interesting ones done very artistically. Then I'd worry about the tiny details. Shots like these are trivial to do ...
Kudos to anyone doing this daily with props, a theme, using photography as an art. You have WAY more patience than me. But I "get it".
