I tried Waves of Grain last year just because it was on sale. I am amazed by how well it pairs with so many scents. 

It's to early to say how well I like the razor since it was my first shave with it. Build quality is great. Definitely on the heavy side. A tad lighter then my brass Hone razor. Did a face and head shave on aggressive side 2 with a feather blade on three days growth. Maybe not the best decision with a new razor. Outcome was rough and raw with a few sweeper. Definitely this razor has a steep learning curve. I welcome the challenge of finding its sweet spot. Also thick lather is hard to rinse with the thick combed teeth. So if your looking for a unique different style of shaving experience I say give this Yaqi razor a try .
