Slim just arrived from andrewjs18 this evening. It cleaned up pretty nice, though to be honest, it wasn't really that dirty. Some plate loss, as advertised, but she still shaves wonderfully. Definitely going to get this one either replated or treated by Delta Echo. I haven't decided yet. Gonna shave with it a bunch more times and try to decide...

Best $14 I ever spent!!

Chris, that seems a very fair price for a Slim in good working order. I received the same quality and what I consider a fair price from andrewjs18 when I purchased my Schick Adjustable from him. Like you, I am loving my razor. It's easily my favorite of the three Schick Injectors that I own.

As for the Slim, I'm not surprised that you like it. I have three Gillette Adjustables, a Fat Boy, a Slim, and a Super Adjustable. I really enjoy using the Super Adjustable and Slim but am not crazy about the Fat Boy. I find the arc of the Fat Boy head too high and it just does not give me as close a shave as the other two. Don't get me wrong, the Fat Boy is hugely popular so there has to be something to the razor. However, when folks have a complaint about it, very often it is the one I have.

Enjoy that Slim and if/when you get it all snazzed up, please post a picture of it. Smile

By the way, what is the date code on your Slim.
