My usual process now is to smear the soap around the bottom of the thin-walled stainless steel lather bowl, and let it float in the first sink-full of hot water during my prep shower.
By the time I got out of the shower tonight, the whole room was filled with the wonderful Bergamot scent of Seville, in spite of the ceiling vent fan running.
Results: a three-pass CCS.
