Now for something completely different. Picked up this razor and brush in a wooden box for $13.00. I don't know anything about them, but if I buy it I use it. The handle on the brush is very heavy and I believe it is brass. The knot is floppy and prickly. I believe it is a black badger. I did end up with a good shave.

Oh, I've done it, too. Locking it would be beneficial for all of us. Of course, I understand keeping it open for conversation, I guess.

Truly, this is one of those two-edged swords. Closing these SOTD threads at the end of the week would prevent accidental posts, of course, but it would also prevent any further commentary on any of the posts in the thread.

Now, there’s always the chance to copy and paste text from a closed thread into a different thread or a private message…

Perhaps I’ll take this matter up and see what the mod consensus turns out to be.
