My two Ladies Eversharp Beauty Razors arrived in the post yesterday morning........These are short handled Type K 3 versions of the earlier Long Handled Type K 2 Models and are somewhat rare and hard to find......In fact, I have never seen these before....They are as rare as hens teeth.....The Ladies Eversharp Beauty K 3 is the cut down handle model for a Compact Case Set......These have the Hydro Magic Heads and lever function to open for cleaning.....They came with two packs of X 4 NOS Schick Krona Blades.....Cant be bad at that....[Image: eek.png].
One has a Silver Hydro Head and the other has a Golden Hydro Head......I gave these razors the cleaning treatment and they are both sitting in Mint Condition.....If the seller had sold these as NOS there would have been no argument....These are so Kinky... ...[Image: rolleyes.png]

I had my maiden shave yesterday with the White Handled and Gold Headed, Lady Eversharp Type K 3 Beauty Razor ......I treated the Type K 3 Beauty Razor to an NOS Schick Krona Injector Blade and challenged it to a couple of days worth of whiskers.....This is where my Injector blade experimentation has paid dividends.....[Image: eek.png]
I was immediately impressed by the smoothness of this razor & blade Combo.....I am used to shaving with earlier more aggressive Schick Injectors so the Type K 3 Beauty Razor feels exceptionally Mild to me.....I found that I could be really free with this razor & blade combo.....I have heard some people saying that shaving with a Schick Injector almost feels like cheating yourself out a shave.....Well, that was my experience with the Type K 3 Beauty Razor....This razor is a "Real Pussy Cat" compared to some earlier Schick Injectors....Its almost as easy to use as a Modern High Tech Cartridge Shaving System.....[Image: rolleyes.png]
I can understand why the Hydro Magic is so popular.....They are so user friendly.....I have got to say that I am impressed with the efficiency of the Hydro Magic Head, Mild or not it offered me the "Quickest & Fastest Four Pass Shave of my Life"...... I was "Moving like Grease Lightening".....John Travolta hasn't a Look in here....The Lady Eversharp Type K 3 Beauty Razor offered me a wonderfully Smooth Irritation Free All Over BBS Result.....I really enjoyed the shave tonight with this razor.....What a wonderful freedom of expression with this razor & blade combo......[Image: smile.png]

I came down with some stomach virus on Sunday and spent Monday screaming "Ralph" into the porcelain megaphone. So today was my first shave on two days of stubble since mid-May.
Usually I don't dig Voskhods on two days of stubble, but today was alright. I had a Polsilver with one shave on it loaded up, but some old friends had stopped by on Sunday morning on their way through town. The dude went to the bathroom, and came out bleeding profusely on his sideburn area. I never asked, but I suspected he saw my beautiful ATT razor and could resist giving it a try. So I had to sanitize the whole thing and only had Voskhods in the medicine cabinet. And therefore that is what I went with.
But overall, a really great shave. Since I went to bed super early and wasn't hungry, I had plenty of time to do it right and got a great BBS shave. The Vetililac was a fantastic scent for someone who still has a woozy stomach, and I feel better than I could've expected afterward. What a great, soothing soap scent to start the day.

Many firsts
I recently traded for Midnight & Two soap in the Cabin scent, as well as Van Yulay pre shave oil and balm. The soap has a masculine combination of cedar and pine with some other aspects. I'd say it's pleasant and reminds me of the cabin my family used to rent up North in summer. I won't really review it yet, but my first impression is a good one. The oil went on easily and did not seem to clog the razor, though this was not a great shave. I broke the rule about trying one new thing at a time, so I cannot pin down the weak link. It could just have been the blade or technique. I had a few small weepers and some burn, so I used the sample of Van Yulay Idzan balm and it worked great. The scent is in the tobacco family and the burn was gone quick. I used some Roam aftershave to round out this very manly scented shave.

Razor: '59 Fatboy
