Barrister_N_Mann Barrister & Mann Leviathan | razorock RazoRock Black Mamba with UberGlide Coating | Gillette Nacet Stainless | Ever-Ready 100T (TGN Finest) | Nicole Pangas Ceramics "Ghost Skulls" Shaving Bowl
Prep: Hot shower
Pre: Murdock Avalon pre-shave oil
Soap: Dr. Jon's - Hydra
Bowl: Fine Accoutrements
Brush: L'Occitane synthetic
Razor: Schick Injector Dial Adj @6
Blade: Schick Injector Twin (1)
After: WH, Proraso AS, Murdock Avalon ASB
First use of a twin-blade (eBay from Japan) in my Schick Adjustable and the overall experience I would describe in one word - smooth.
Feels like you can swing around this razor with abandon and not cause any injuries. In fact I couldn't stop myself passing over the same spots as it didn't feel like anything was happening. The blades kind of suck onto your skin. I did get a good close result though with zero irritation. Not BBS but not too far off either. I think I need to apply more pressure in future. Definitely one of my most comfortable shaves.
Dr. Jon's is a fabulous soap and used with this synthetic brush deals up luxurious lather that's tough to match.
Have a great weekend, folks.
