Solid Sunday
My wife said this scent reminds her of rose milk, a skin care product her grandmother used. It's not the first time I've used 1803, but it's the first comment I've heard. I'll still use it sometimes. I noticed a big difference between the 6s and the Vision - the former is much smoother, but the latter shaves much closer. I'm not sure which I favor yet.
Rating: 4.5 / 5
Razor: Rockwell 6s
Blade: Personna Platinum
Brush: Brothers Bristles Silver Surfer
Lather: Dr. Jon's 1803
Aftershave: Dr. Jon's 1803
Additional Care:
Van Yulay PSO
I Coloniali Rhubarb shave soap and balm.
Floid Blue splash.
Dogwood Handcrafts Abyss Tuxedo.
Blackland Sabre.
Gem Stainless.
I decided to pull some old staples out as they have not seen much use since the hostile takeover of my Den by the Artisan Armada.
The I Coloniali shave soap produced a nice lather and the protection was great, but it lacked in the post-shave feel department. The balm is very nice and soothing, as it should be, and both products smell wonderful and luxurious.
The Floid splash was outstanding as always.... it will sneak its way into my rotation again. I forgot how good this stuff was and the scent is very, very nice.
Cheers.
