Soap: Route 66 Sea & Citrus
Aftershave: Floid Vigoroso
A very close comfortable 3 pass with a touch up shave tonight. Nice to visit old friends. This is a very good razor that provides and excellent shave. The Omega 10096 boar is an outstanding brush and is only second to the Rubberset 400 #3 as far as boar brushes go. Route 66 soap is another excellent performer.

This is another of the razors I received a little over a week ago. I finally got around to honing it after removing it from the scales, cleaning everything up really good, and repinning it. I honed it up from bevel set to finish, and had a very nice shave this evening. Close, clean, and comfortable. Good stuff!

I collected knives through my teenage years on through my 20's.  I love to see a Case straight razor carefully cleaned up, honed, and lovingly used by such a thoughtful and skillful person as yourself!  I have several Case pocket knives still, but have yet to acquire a Case straight razor, let alone one in such beautiful shape as yours.  Good show, Man!

The shaving cream adventure continues!

I really feel the need to explore these creams. I'm a little embarrassed to admit all of the shaving loot I've discovered that I have and never tried. It's pretty ridiculous. I'm trying to work through some of this stuff and restrict some of my purchases.

Anyway, the shaves have been fairly nice with most of the products used recently, so it's feeling really good going on my little adventure in shaving cream. I have to admit that I'm itching to swirl a 2-Band over ANY shaving soap, though! What can I say? I'm human!
