Beautiful brush as usual Celestino, thinking of getting one of these Americanas myself. How would you compare the 2 band hair of Shavemac to Simpsons best as that’s about the only badger brush I’ve ever used.

Thank you for your nice words.
Regarding Shavemac's 2-Band hair, Bernd actually offers three variations; Silvertip 2-Band (the softest feel and less dense), D-01 2-Band (most scrubbiest of any hair I have tried and extremely dense), and Unique 2-Band (simlar to the Silvertip 2-Band, but denser knot and more backbone).
I don't think you can compare any of these knots/hair to Simpsons' Best as they are quite different.
It really is a very subjective perspective of what would work best, for you.
It would depend on how much backbone, or lack of it, that you want.
It is extremely difficult to suggest a 2-Band brush if you haven't tried any. Having said this, the Maseto Shaving 2-Band or TGN Finest 2-Band knots/brushes might be a more economical way to experiment with 2-Bands, as are Stirling's 2-Bands.
What I can say is that Shavemac's regular Silvertip and the D-01 3-Band Silvertip would be closer in feel to Simpsons' Best badger, even Shavemac's Finest 3-Band Silvertip would be closer in feel.
Good luck.
