Review time!

As the coffee still works it's magic before I clock in I felt I needed to take a moment to talk about Zingari Man's new Tallow base. Two words. Friggin Awesome!! For those of you heading to the upcoming meets she will have samples available at the following..
San Antonio, CT, MO, & Louisville

Before going further and for full transparency I am one of a handful of testers that has had the honor of working with Heather through the process. When I first started testing on her new vegan base development that has since been released I did not know Heather but have since become friends. She has poured her heart and soul into everything and every ounce of it shows in her product! This is HER formula from head to tail. It's not a premade that she slaps her name on and calls "original".
This set was purchased by me! Not a freebie!!

I received yesterday and couldn't wait until this morning to shave. Consistency of the soap is exactly what you would expect and will find with most other tallow soaps. With a damp brush I loaded for 10 seconds and proceeded to face lather, adding water as needed. I did also do a bowl lather just to show the lather but forgive me on my skills. I face lather 99.9% of the time but even then it was that easy to build a fantastic lather! The lather is beautifully dense, very slick, and provides an excellent amount of cushion! Residual slickness is just as good as initial and is no problem when it comes to buffing and touchups between lathers. Lather was stable with no signs of dissipating or drying out. The post is the best of all the soaps I've tried and in my years of wet shaving, I've tried just about all of them. Zero post shave product is needed! I could easily clean out my den and only use this base.

Some of you will remember Black Tie from Strop Shoppe soaps with it's matching splash called "Debonair". It has always been one of my favorite scents and it broke my heart when it was no longer available. I brought it up in conversation over favorite scents and it just so happened she had that very scent on hand! That was the only hook up in regards to the set but if it gets enough want, she may make it an offering!! ( Hint hint people!)
Scent level is perfect in the mid range ball park that lasts throughout the shave.

The balm was scented to match and as I've stated before, is the best aftershave balm on the market and I'm not a balm guy. This is the balm I compare all other balms to now. You can do the Pepsi challenge on that balm and it will win everytime!! I used the balm after a nice splash of Debonair. Skin feels fantastic and I've already been complimented on how good I smell.
Thanks all for taking the time to read and if your looking for a new tallow, definitely give Zingari a shout!
