Oh, the time has come... On this first day of November... Let's all celebrate the beginning of Winter.
Blue Samhain. What can I say? I've been wanting it for quite a long time. I can't tell you exactly why. Maybe it's the Irish in me. There's definitely something about it that called to me. Now that I have it... It's pure Fall Magic!
Notes are Sandalwood, Burnt Sugar, Bourbon, Pumpkin. Oak Barrel aged for a year! The "ghost notes" from the cask add some beautiful subtitles that I think really shape the final fragrance. This stuff is boozy and delicious. Am I the only one that gets a maple syrup and pancake vibe? Lol.
With a full bowl of some fantastic lather whipped up care of the CK-6 soap, Doughman knot and my Bluff Cove Pottery bowl (not shown), I went to town with the Eversharp-Schick Injector. This razor is just a joy to use. It's lightweight, nimble, and gives reliably great shaves. Three passes and I was as smooth as a freshly picked pumpkin.
Alright, my fellow wet shavers. That's all for today. Let the Winter/holiday season begin.
Take care and enjoy your shaves.
Prepare for mind control!
