Goin' to church shave on a light beard:
Razor: Pearl "The Sleek" SE (modified)
Soap: Cella Sapone Professionale (bongiorno sandolo)
Brush: Omega Puro Tasso (black badger)
Bowl: Fine Accoutrements
A/S: Pinaud Clubman Whiskey Woods
I am leaning how to work with this razor. It is very mild and the blade (EuroMax equivalent) is not very sharp so I can do four very light passes in each of the cardinal directions without irritation or over exfoliation (A/S does not sting) and get a BBS result. You have to be very conscious of blade angle as +3 or - 3 degrees from optimal and it will stop cutting. This Cella Professionale soap requires a lather bowl and a good 60 seconds to make the lather, and even then it is not thick and voluminous like Cella red tallow soap would be. It is slick and protective though. Rinses very clean too. I would not use it on a tough three day beard with a SR, but for a light beard and a safety razor or a back of the neck shave it is fine.
