A 19thC English Shave
Wade & Butcher razor
Simpson Chubby badger hair brush (only a few years old!)
Floris shaving soap, very old and still very nice, in an antique English ceramic container
Nephrite mug
Hudson River water, new from the Hudson city water supply
This is the longest blade, with the longest edge, I have. It is about double the length of a Japanese kamisori! The steel is easy to sharpen, and strops to make a damn fine shave.

Razor: Tatara Muramasa
Blade: Gillette Nacet (1)
Brush: Grizzly Bay WildBlue ChubCub
Pre-shave: PAA Cube
Soap: Noble Otter Monarch
Stirling Unscented Witch Hazel
B&M Unscented Balm
AS: Noble Otter Monarch
Good morning!
Fantastic first shave with the Muramasa! I decided to start at the lowest setting. Little to no blade feel but enough audible feedback to maintain the small yet effective cutting angle. I did my usual three passes and found one little patch of sandpaper along my right jawline that required a light touch up. The alum had absolutely nothing to report.

Filarmonica no13 Muleta
Heirloom Razor Strop Co. Notovan
Kensurfs 2020 2-Band Badger
CBL soap co. Dragon’s Blood
Soap and Aftershave Tonic
Breaking in this little fingerling of a brush I picked up for kicks. Perfect finger grips and a wonderful knot. It put together a luxurious face lather with the Dragon’s Blood soap. Yes this soap scent is the incense, just great stuff. The phenomenally sharp Filarmonica transformed 3 days of graying wire stubble into a perfect sheet of smooth glass.
The post shave with this soap goes on for miles.
Remarkable Shave
Have a great Sunday kids.
