Maiden voyage with with Moon Soaps today. The Sorrento blew me away - the lather is thick, slick, protective, and a breeze to whip up. The scent is medium on the puck, light on the brush, and pleasant, but not to-die-for IMO. Also this soap is firm. I got this and Moon's Union, which is a different base. (Sorrento is done in Moon's original base, which has the most tallow of their bases.) Union will be up to bat soon.

These are great lavender products, which always remind me of one our favorite places to go, Sequim ('skwim'), WA, about an hour and a half drive away. The lavender fields there bloom in the summer, making the air really heady when we stay at one of the B&Bs on a bluff overlooking the Strait of Juan de Fuca and Vancouver Island.
