I saw some talk of cold shaving so I gave it a shot this morning. My equipment:
Nivea sensitive skin AS balm
Ej de89 with Astra sp (2nd shave)
Sample of Meissner tremonia salty sea sage
Chubby 1 best badger

How did you like the cold water shave? I tried it about a year and haven't gone back to hot water shaves except for on those really cold winter days.

I really enjoyed the cold shave.  The meissner has a hint of menthol or peppermint oil so combined with the cold water it gave a very nice, refreshing face feel.  I will probably continue the cold water shaving during the hot summer months, but when fall rolls around I may resort back to the warm water.
