Today was my first ride with the Timeless Aluminum Razor, and I am very highly impressed. These days I grow increasingly fonder of vintage Schicks, going back at times as far as two favorite G models, but more often focused on Types L through O. Well, the Timeless Al reminds me in some respects of the best that the Schick injectors offer. It is smooth but efficient, and incredibly nimble and easy to control. Like the Schicks, it is lightweight, but somehow heavy enough to do everything you want it to do - and do it well! And IMO it (the Timeless Al) is one of the best razor bargains available, at $75USD for the razor and stand - not highly polished, but otherwise impeccably machined, with a scalloped cap, and an excellently checkered 14 x 90mm handle.
Props also to the Hub City Raider Base Chats with Grandpa Soap. IMO the scent is sublime, and the Raider base performance never disappoints.
